Well, I’m almost completed…
All the maintenance is done which was as follows:
The mechanics of the SC kit is installed, and you can tell this is a very carefully made kit. The clearances are amazingly close, as you can see in the engine bay…

I have a pressure fill tool for the coolant system, which is a must on these cars, and after all the various work on the car it holds 25 PSI steady. This means no leaks, ready to go. The SC setup however did not and it appears that there is a loose fitting on the intercooler/reservoir tank in the engine bay. To be honest, I didn’t check these as the kit was almost perfectly setup and I “assumed” it was tight. I’m going to need to test the fittings…
Hoping it won’t be a removal job, I’ll try with everything in. Anyways, it is a minor hick-up as the only thing left is some wiring and it’s on to the interior to complete the gauge installation…
Almost there!
Cheers
Aaron

Any problems with the SC interference with the rear cross member?
Not for me as I run solid engine mounts. However, I do know someone that did and they hammered an indent into the rear cross member, I believe using a socket, and painted it again to look stock.
