Porsche 996 – Air Oil Separator and SC
Hi all, Well it looks like the increase of positive crank case pressure killed what was left of my AOS. These things are service items and it was in suspect before my supercharger install. Looking back, my new advice to anyone looking to SC their 996 that has some miles and never had the AOS is to replace it. I did this leaving the transmission in but you’ll need to remove the driver’s side intake manifold. Hi all, Well as I mentioned I decided to replace the wheel bearings before I go about replacing the wheel carriers on my C2 with the Turbo ones. However, the PIA thing about doing the job is getting it done 100% correctly and that involves special tools and heating them just right.
